In summary
It is possible to make money online in South Africa. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.
Most [if not all] online opportunities can be put into one of four categories:
- Services: Sell or provide a service online.
- E-commerce: Sell products online.
- Content: Create and publish content online.
- Code: Develop software and apps.
Choose a category that fits your skills, passion, and situation. If you’re looking for a way to make money online and you don’t have any. Start with services or content.
Services are the easiest to start with, in my opinion. While you can create content without spending much, it typically takes a long time to start generating real cash. Of course, if you can code, then that’s a great path to take. Not everyone can do it. So, technically, there is a little less competition.
E-commerce is an awesome way to make money online. But it generally requires a budget to start, maintain, and promote.
Do what works for you! And if your first attempt doesn’t work. Stick with it a little longer, or try again. There’s no such thing as failure. Only learning.
